Another day. Bananarama! she fought me every step. If something could get snagged/caught etc it did.
My main thought for the day is "I HATE HEADERS" - they are in the damn way of absolutely EVERYTHING !!! I even had to pop a torsion bar out to get to an engine mount bolt. Fortunately I am brilliant at this now - its like 10 mins but still. ARRGGHH! !!
But... the good news is... tada !

Well done.
By way of consolation, it takes me 9 hours to get the Hemi out of the Challenger by myself - YOU hate Headers???

Anyway. Todays pic. I call it "You can never have enough 440s".

Right. As usual what take you lot a couple of hours takes me days but essentially we are apart as far as we are going.
This weeks learning is "Goddam. Pitman arms are tight arent they ? "
Anyway. We are there. The bits that need refurb/reseal are underway and some parts are coming. Should start assembly in a couple of weeks. Which gives me time to fit the line lock and bias valve. I like making pipes That bits easy.
Onward !! Thanks to all who helped this week...

I was thinking a nice 2.0litre diesel would give me plenty of header clearance ...

Indeed, but it may hurt the 60 foot times a bit...

That is a very clean workspace you have there Morgan, and I never thought of using wheel skates as engine trollies. Genius.

Right. Onward. Been on hols but back now.
So the steering box arrived back today from rebuild. It will go in tomorrow. (pics to follow).
I have amused myself with childish stuff. (I know, I know...)
Anyway - Bit of wiring and tubing fun. As is my want I like this stuff hidden away. I have made a panel which lives in the front of the centre console. Its ideal on a charger as the console is sprung open. There is a circuit isolator latching switch (green) which has to be on before the Red momentary switch can be used. Works quite nicely...
Anyway , back to real stuff tomorrow.
