Fabulous news to see that a Mopar won the CA Car of the Year comp, the 57 Dodge Custom Royale, personally I thought the COPO Camaro would win but Dodge won through, brilliant.

My money was on the COPO too - we gave that an instant award at the "Mopars at Brooklands 2018".

A Stand out car.

I thought that out of the 2 Mopars the green Plymouth Belvedere would be more likely.
Such a pretty car. But then again what does styling have to do with it?
Regardless, congrats to the owner of the Dodge, must be quite rare in this country.

Thanks We go every year and occasionally wonder whether we need to go but there's always something different and a bit special that makes it worthwhile

I assume they mean either the greatest footfall of visitors, or possibly the largest number of Austin Maxi's under one roof....

Their website says it was the world's largest gathering of car clubs. There were certainly more Porsche stands this year than i've ever seen... they seemed to take over half of one hall

Re numbers, to get an idea of scale, before the show they said there would be 2500 cars on display. A write-up that I read last week about the show we went to at Bicester Heritage Centre a few weeks ago, said there was 5500 cars

Nothing compared to the Swedish bash, then ?
