What conn rods are those ? look familiar

they are the ones Bacca got off you and then I brought them off him. I also had a set of bushed small block rods which I gave to Bacca in trade for a good block.

Try and get some brass freezer plugs, the metal ones are rubbish.

I managed to get in the garage this morning and managed to fit the cam, crank,pistons,rod and windage tray with oil pump so things are moving on well.
the cam was a bit tight so I used 2000 grit wet and dry to ease the bearing and now it spins well.
I fitted the main seal and the crank and once that was all torqued down i started to install all the pistons and rods and once that was complete I had to fit the oil pump and found it fouled the main studs so I had to cut the main stud thread down till it cleared. I was trying to install the timing chain but ran short of time so this is as far as I got today.

What`s the manufacturer of that oil slinger plate / timing chain ? I don`t recognise it

Hi Jon

The oil plate is from macini racing and the timing gear is comp cams double roller set up.

Yes Kev it does have a hole in it. By the way Kev I think you need a new MMA t-shirt as the one you a wearing with Matt is very faded!! :lol: :lol:

gonna be having another sb clearout soon ( 360 + 0.030 block, 318 std + 904 trans etc etc ) ... gonna go after market block

Hi Anton,

How's this for valve and sparkplug deshrouding for 340/360 heads?

Second piccy has the Ferrera Nailhead valves to up the compression.

First piccy shows stock-chamber with stock 2.02's with dishheads.
