Happy welding.
Well I put all the ups and down on here Adam so that others are better informed and know what works and what don't.
Not everyone wants to make cock-up after cock-up and spend loads of money for little gain. I think you have that technique nailed down anyway.
I could just keep it all to myself I suppose. Say nowt and try to look clever. Just produce a finished result and say "Oh this is just something I threw together at the weekend and it only cost me a grand to do the whole car from start to finish". Then watch in amusement as others try to copy and bankrupt themselves in the process.
I do this despite not being able to afford it because of the passion I have for these cars. Not because I am a flash git with disposable income.
Yeah I was expecting to have to make header adaptors.
But as a normal 2.5 inch exhaust system fits with the GV without any problems I wasn't expecting serious clearance problems with their 3-inch.
Also their diagram shows the pipes running well apart from each other. Not almost touching. Which means the prop shaft loop also is in the way too.

Lighten up Dave , i was only pulling yer chain , i know fullwell the aggro that goes with these cars coupled with aftermarket parts.
I can quite easily pull up a few quotes which you have made in the past , but we all take it in our stride.

Bit harsh Dave Edit - just seen your apology
Dont stop posting this level of detail of your progress, it's one of my fave threads on here
Our TTI system fitted like a glove..... and just about as tight too (in places). No chance of using our prop loop either But we'll get one made up ...... sometime soon
