if you're using a new drivetrain and frame does this mean a whole new bike? or are you stripping the first one for parts?

Not sure yet.
Likly have to strip for parts but there might be a drag and LSR race version one day.
Things like ECU and wiring loom I couldnt afford to do twice.

I'd missed this update.
Yes. Of course. A turbo. I mean why wouldnt you...?
Semi-serious question - is this still 'Jade Warrior' or have you effectively axed that and just building your own anyway ?

I did go and have a look at what was left of the real "Jade Warrior" around 5 years ago and to be honest, there wasn't much left.
So everything up to date has been a complete new build.

Made a temporary wheel and reduced the tyre tread to 3.5mm from 7mm nominal across the tyre.
This has helped remove a massive amount of weight out of the tyre which will really help with the high-speed centrifugal loads.
Again this is a fighter jet nose wheel and is the highest rating tyre for its size on this planet

The Land speed tyre is only 10" wide while the drag bike tyre is 15" wide.
I ordered a brand new 15X10 drag bike wheel from RC Components.
Well what a load of absolute Bananarama! Bananarama! Bananarama! Bananarama! Bananarama! Bananarama! Bananarama! Bananarama! Bananarama! Bananarama!
The wheel has 1.8mm of run out and the silicon looks like
Currently in arguments with the company (DO NOT BUY FROM THEM )

Fantastic work as usual.
I particularly like the ever present nature of the club hammer - just in case!!!

Working on 3D modelling to help work out suspension loads / travel.
Modelling has also helped work our Handel bar placement.
Looks like as close to swing arm pivot point as possible.
Finally got bike weighed and she is 214kg !

That plan must have really extended the wheelbase - I thought you were going for bars in front of the wheel?
