Yes you always use an RPV with drum brakes. The old iron master cylinders have them built in so you don't need to think about it, it's only when you use a modern master cylinder designed (as most of them are these days) for 4 wheel disc brakes you need to fit an external RPV.

New drop down panel made, these are wood and the old one was falling apart. Some of the metal edging was missing so I remade the lot, it will be painted blue to match the interior. No budget for carpet at the moment so the old stuff will have to stay for now. Old dash speaker was nuked as you'd expect on a 50 year old desert car so I used it as a pattern to make a new one. I had a suitable piece of lexan so I used that as a frame to support a pair of 3.5" cheapo eBay speakers. I used some speaker cloth across the top to help stop any crap collecting in the speaker cones.

Nice idea for the dash speaker I like ii, could have done the same but unfortunately I lobbed the Chargers as the cone turned to dust when I took it out.
Which is going make the Nats, Barracuda or Valiant?

Very productive weekend, all dash reassembled, certainly eats up some time! Dug out my best set of Sun Blueline gauges, didn't especially enjoy drilling holes in a brand new dash pad but needs must. Bit of a moan, I got my seat covers from PG classics, half the price of Legendary, how bad could they be? well I ordered the correct blue metallic as shown on their website, when they came they are considerably darker and not really metallic at all. So I got the upper dashpad from them thinking it will be the same wrong blue, It was yet another blue. Upshot is I got some vinyl dye matched to the seat covers and dyed the new upper and the original lower so at least they are all the same colour. When I get the door panels from them I'm fully expecting to have to dye those to match as well. Bite the bullet, go to legendary if you need the right colour.

Ropey old carpet and all seats back in, just a few bits and pieces still to fit when I find where I've put them  fitted a period correct B&M quick click shifter which took a good few months of searching to find.
