I am not surprised about the degree of spark advance and locked out timing. Thank heavens for starter savers in the long run.

What a nice man , a very nice man.
Thanks Jules , that's enough to give the most modest some inspiration.
Hood was a good price , although the paint job cost more than the hood.

Few probs with the pump shooter cams , the yellow one's supplied are toooooooooo big & flood the motor , the purple one's off the mighty are too small & bog the motor when you stamp on it...........

got the die grinder out @ shaved the yellow pump shooter cams down.
Finally got ready to give it a blast this afternoon.............
Stuck some fuel in & headed for the North Circ , No Neck buckled up & asked if i had a nappy he could use

, the torque is unbelievable , if feels like the old 440 with the 300 shot of gas

, sounds real deep & you can hear the gear drive , we got stuck in some traffic which panicked me a bit incase the motor overheated , the temp would'nt go above 170* which is good , No Neck took to the wheel & noticed a ricer up our arse , he tickled the peddle & the motor lifted the front till it broke traction , well pleased with the results , also runs on 97ron , oil pressure is pretty good & shoots up to 70psi when the rpms go up , the dominator is great on the street too , no issues whatsoever , will take it for a longer drive tommorow , can even hear ole Doris Day playin.
The Pit drives real well considering the motor in this , feels tame until you stomp on it , tis a sheep in wolves clothing & a right animal , obviously the track will show what it's got , but feels strong all the same.

Great news Adam, really am pleased for you
170* is excellent, mine still makes me a bit nervous, if too much traffic about.
