Was gonna say you are heading towards the racers slippery slope, but after reading about your car on your link your already truly on it.
I have known Andy for years & have always been happy with the quality of his work, but it can take a while to get a slot. I also like the way he quotes, sort of like a menu....... trouble is I keep having Starter, Main Course & pudding !
Good Luck.

I haven't seen the progress for couple of weeks as been in Poland & now in Barcelona this week.
Another 2 weeks or so before I get home. Only home for 4 days,
!
Crikey Mark you travel even more than me
slows things down quite a bit dont it

Travel, yeah you could say that. I tend to get on planes like most people get buses. I need another 50-75,000 miles to make the Million miles mark with BA. Will pass the 500k with American Airlines if things carry on as they are. Will be in Poland till March/April '08 so this could affect American Airlines deal.
My travel is the main reason for me putting my Cuda on the road, also, the main driver for me putting my car to Andy's. As I never seem to have enough time, plus when I get home family life gets priority over the car. My time at home is precious to me, I have my other hobbies of watchin my daughter horse ride & watch my son play semi pro soccer (hes only 17 teen)
Goin back to travel & work, my list of countries is endless, I have worked in:-
Morocco, India, China (North & South), Kenya, S.Africa, Egypt, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Turkey, Russia, Holland, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, USA, Canada
I'm sure theres a few I have missed ! !

Saw the Cuda today& fair bit of progress since I last saw it. Steering done, Alternator mounted, Mid Plate / Bulk head completed to clear head, Wipers, Big Stuff 3 mounted, New Front bars in (old bars fell right accross the exhaust ports) New headlights fitted (Thanks Simon), new glass trunk mounted.
Still plenty to go, such as Headers, Exhausts, Fuel Tank, wiring, Propshaft, blah, blah, blah.
New Strange centre section, Spool & Big spline Shafts on route from USA & should arrive next week.
Took a couple of photos, but cant post at the moment, will try later.
JonB - your cage was progressing well.

A few photos from yesterday, quality is a bit crap, but sure you will get the idea. Roll on 2008 & let the new season begin .................

AllKiller wrote:So whats the big stuff 3 Mark ?? boost timing controller ??
The bigstuff3 is the electronic fuel injection controller. I am really pleased with it, bearing in mind the small time I have played with it. The guy who designed bigstuff3 was also responsible for the design of the FAST fuel injection which you may be more familar with.
Typical features being:- Sequential fuel control, Dual Wide band 02 sensors, Self teaching, blah, blah, blah.
For a novice it is reasonably easy to understand, assuming you already have an understanding of what you are trying to achieve.

AllKiller wrote:Mark, I am actually thinking of going F.I on the 505 stroker using a FAST F.I. set up for better tuning, power and better fuel economy...
I looked at quite a few such as Bigstuff3, FAST,Accel,Mega Squirt to name a few.
It eventually came down to toss up between Bigstuff3 & FAST, for me the Bigstuff3 seemed the better option.
As I said earlier, it was the the same guy who originally designed & owned FAST before selling & starting Bigstuff3 so their features are very similar.
I had always fancied a Hemi, being Blown & injected seemed the natural choice. I'm sure what ever F.I system you decide to go with, you will be happy.
