looks like it’s over, Con have the 326

last 2 months pundits and opinion polls have been a complete waste of time and money

the bbc/itv/sky exit poll was spot on, Paddy Ashdown has a rather nice hat to eat

We once had the world, gave it all away and are still giving it away and will carry on giving it away until everyone is happy there is nothing left to give away.

UKIP did well % wise just not enough to secure seats
Carl wrote:Yes for those of you who are happy their money is paying for everyone else!
precisely

if you read the manifesto as opposed to listening to tittle tattle in the media it’s clear

UKIP want to take control of immigration, not ban it

• Leave the EU and take back control of our borders
• End immigration for unskilled jobs for a five-year period to re-balance our work economy
• Introduce an Australian-style points-based immigration system to assess all potential migrants to Britain on a fair, ethical and equal basis
• Tackle the problem of sham marriages
• Introduce a new visa system for workers, visitors, students, families and asylum seekers
• End access to benefits and free NHS treatment for new immigrants until they have paid tax and NI for five years
• Require all visitors and new immigrants to the UK to have their own health insurance.

seems reasonable to me

you pay, you stay, simples

The reason we ruled the world is because we stole it from the people who actually lived there. The descendants of whom you don't feel are deserving of our help.
Remember slavery? Have you seen all those lovely big posh buildings in Liverpool for example, built with sugar plantation money, grown and harvested by men our country stole from Africa and brutalised for profit.

Those families who became rich off the backs of others still control the majority of the wealth in this country. They control the majority of the press and the government.

But hey, you go on lazily blaming the victims, they're the easy target :thumbright:

UKIP have done very well in my opinion

They only secured 1 seat but 12.6% of the overall Votes - That puts them in 3rd place if you go off the people's average. In most counts they came 2nd or 3rd - thats pretty good !!

I dont think its fair the SNP secured less than 4.8% of the votes but gain 56 seats in westminster.....Doesnt make sense to me !!!

UKIP will only get stronger - They still have my support.

You have got to love the Scots though......They have a sense of humor!!!

A majority vote against independence, but then vote like crazy for a Nationalist party................ :D

I think a lot of UKIP supporters voted Tory for fear of labour getting in.
