I love these old pics of the cars.
They have so much history and really we’re not meant to be around still. As blue says, age related plate changes, paint, etc…
I mean I k ow mine was in a ‘79T plate and was gold from factory, then blue, then grey… it’s at least 2 cars haha - triggers broom rolls on …

The hood stripe on Steve's was Matt black and it had a 727 which he blew up resulting in a hole in the trans tunnel, I think it bruised his foot as well. I've got a picture of the hole somewhere.

Yes I remember it well, when we took the trans out it was in about 4 pieces. Steve was lucky not to have been badly hurt, front drum explosions can be proper nasty.

I still don’t run one but 904’s are less prone to exploding than 727’s.

Dunno about the red 71 but the black 71 roadrunner was owned by the Peach Brothers from down Brighton way.
The green 69 Charger was Neil Crozier's - not sure where it is now (as said before, prob on an age-related plate) but he's now got a nice white 70 Challenger with a stroked small block

Here's the picture of Steve's car after the trans explosion. The gas pedel isn't where it used to be.

The yellow Duster had a 383 in it, the son of the guy that owned it then is currently looking for it. The Red Barracuda belonged to Steve and Lorraine from Edmonton.

The red Superbird was John Castleman’s, original petty blue car it ended up with Pete Wiseman before going back to the States.
