Never heard the Harry K Kody before Jem cheers :thumbright: not as well known over here as they should be,bit like this Guy Micheal Lee Firkins...posted him before but not this track more Country Blues.

Hated this group Poison at the Time i could not listne to it..but seems ok with age.It was hard to relate to the cowboy feel in cold wet Januarys, these and Bon Jovi and other stuff hard to relate to i found and a bit to happy...i did like the first 4 Bon Jovi Albums.

Poison.

Like Halford says,in the 60s the summer of love was over in for us in October hard to relate to sunny west coast Califoinia Hippy stuff when your working class living in a cold industrial Midlands or Northern town..no wonder some dark sounding Metal came out of the UK in the 70s :D

Thunder are Good :thumbright: but one thing that spoilt a gig for me was them using the Intro to ACDC Thunderstruck....when that came on i was wishing for the full song and Angus to come on rather than Thunder :)

monsters of rock used to be place to go, similar era, saw guns and roses there, were booked on as 2nd band on, mid afternoon, by the time the 'gig' came around they were massive, part of the stage fell down & 2 got killed as I remember, at same sort of time, were dave lee roth, aerosmith, kiss, whitesnake, mega line ups, saw aerosmith 3 times in just afew day, anounced they coming to manchester, bought tickets, then newcastle, bouth tickets, then mosters of rock..well was going there anyhow.
Bon Jovi were one of the first bands I ever saw, again bought tickets off the 7800 album & they were not big, they before slippey when wet, by the time the concert came around they were 'big'.
On the down side saw saxon @ the city hall in newcastle couldn't even fill the down stairs & ozzy osbourne @ the tiny little mayfair, good but he was only massive in size! & wearing a dress !!
heavy metal was out of fashion & hair metal glam rock was in big time !

Love them, 'Remedy' is probably the best modern southern rock song ever ;)

We're seeing them at the Kentish Town Forum on Easter Friday. I got our tickets the day... make that the minute they went on sale - dont like leaving these things to chance!

They'll have to go some to better the last tour, when they played half the set acoustic & half electric. It was better than it sounds, honest
