Good to see you got it started. :thumbright:

Think i'd have to join the paranoid gang , specialy all the stops & starts (pita) , not teachin me granny to suck eggs :D but maybe give it more spark lead to stop the headers glowing.

Took an idea off Blue & drilled the lifter valley , might help with cam break in.

I think I had a fair bit of advance in Adam. I lined it up at TDC about a quarter inch before the #1 tower. It cirtainly felt like it when turning it over. But no chance to check it.

I do know the fuel bowl level is very low. Maybe too low?

Time to work on the car is going to be very limited for the next few weeks. Going to France next week.

Nothing! :(

Got a couple of "improvements" to make before firing it up again. Just a couple of things I am not happy with.

But various things keep getting in the way. Not just my health. All the jobs around the house I put off while trying to get ready for the Nats have caught up with me.

On top of all my other problems I also have a bad back at the moment. I am falling apart like a one year old Talbot Horizon.

Yep.
Years of working outside in all weathers. Martial Arts training. Fighting in the streets and clubs. Getting thrown down stairs and over balconies a few times each. Hardly a mark on me and never come to any harm.

Now. I lift my bloody push bike onto a rack at work and I am in agony for days.

I'm even worse today.
Already having a bad back i had a lumbar puncture done yesterday and the entry site for the beer tap was exactly where my bad back was anyway.

Now i can hardly walk today. I am hobbling about like an old man with a stick. I kid you not. I feel 99 not 49. I am in bloody agony. :(

Now that's the way to do it Dave...serious question here and I'm not trying to be a smart arse...will you disconnect the linkage on your six pack and set the AF on each one individually and then go on to set up all three carbs together?

And I bet you got a deal on the kit!;)
