Been a while, plus I let my membership lapse.
Water leaks seems to be cured, long story...
Been busy working in Vietnam for quite a few months. So as usual, cars taken a back seat.
Good news is that I retire the end of March
I plan to do S/Eliminator this year, which involved getting chassis tagged for 7.50. Luckily enough only a couple of changes required (Kidney Bar, new Seat belt mount & chassis 'X' just behind gearbox) Not bad for a chassis done in the 90's.
Plan to be testing racing at Main event in May. Not expecting to set the world alight, just get some seat time, have some fun & enjoy retired life

Jerry's been tied up with work & his garage. Now he's getting it water tight, he may have time to sort through his shed

Been a while since I posted some pictures....
Motor is now all together & running. Had to fit a new screen, as got affected when fuel got heavily sprayed on the screen.

Floor removed to give access for new 'X' bars going behind gearbox as part of chassis tag

Checking if I have room for different seats

Front ready to go on, doors off, as easier to work on the car with them off

Side shot

Rear window shot

Main Event
Had a great weekend in my 1st ever event. Finally got the Cuda starting to work
Managed to bump my PB to 8.27@ 169mph, that's in full street trim. I still need to get used more to the car & learn not to play with the shifter
Last run, should of been my best run, but screwed up, so had to abort the run, but still managed a 8.29 @ 117mph, pretty sure that would of been in the 7s.
My 1st time using MT Radials & they performed faultlessly, pulling 1.22 60fts, so more to come
Big thanks to Harry, ARRC, Shane T in setting me on the right path ...
