Zooming in on that, can’t quite tell, how have you dealt with that? looks like a strip of painted ali or something?

22”. I taped a strip of thin ally across the gap as a mould, you smooth plasticine into any gaps to stop the resin from seeping through, and then 2 layers of fibreglass on the underside, remove mould and paint, sorted.

Is that the Mopar Performance fan shroud? I notice they do an ali shroud specifically for Champion rads too. Can’t decide if it’s a bit bling for me or if it serves any greater purpose or fit.

Yes the plastic Mopar one is what I’d recommend.

It’s the easy bit at the moment. Removing, bagging and tagging.

Freezing cold and getting too dim inside, defeated by bell housing bolts so giving it neck for today.

Decent progress, though and only one nut in the Forgot Pot, so happy enough for now.

I always breathe a sigh of relief when the Convertor bolts come out cleanly - it's "Game on" then and no additional expense....

Ditto in the reverse on installation when the Convertor bolts go in without cross-threading or stripping... if that goes wrong it can really put a crimp in your day...

Postie just turned up with some goodies for the weekend, assuming I can get the motor pulled, if the bell housing bolts don’t play me up.

I'd stick to a nice Merlot if I were you....

It would certainly be more relaxing.
