Nicely done, sir!
What wheel/tyre combo have you got? Also, there's a whopping amount of clearance between the wheel/tyre to the sping - have the springs been 'in-boarded'? Don't forget - those new spings will eventually settle down lower.
Mine's not at factory height at the back but I think it looks OK with the 275/60-15's out back, and evens out nicely with 235/60-15's & the right amount of torsion bar adjustment on the front. I would like to have it lower, but I think I'd get a bit of rubbage.
Dave - pitmans with larger holes were for 72-74 Challys. Well, that's what the box said on it when I had to order in a special one for my manual steering...
However, I stand to be corrected (said a man, once, in ortheopaedic shoes)....

Thanks! I've got exactly the same tyres as you and probably the same wheel dimensions too. My wheels sit further inboard 2.5in on each side than yours because of the A-body rear axle. Indeed, the springs are inboard by about 5in on either side, both to fit the original huge wheels (which are for sale!), and also for necessity to mount the axle.Philth wrote:What wheel/tyre combo have you got? Just had a chance to take a few pics following the first outing on Sunday. The car behaved well until 10 mins after parking her up when she decided to puke water all over the barn floor. New top hose needed
I went down tonight and filled the rad back up with antifreeze, took these photos at the same time
