i was thinking more of the gearbox parts, looks like i will be getting a cnc lathe soon so it will make things quicker and easier (read cheaper)to produce. pullys look good, is it paint or anodise?

Yes, I have some of the gearbox bits in stock. The pulleys are painted but at a quick glance it doe's actually look like black anodising. Pete, no I've been putting that job off for a bit! Funnily enough it doesn't look like a physically smaller engine, I must have gained a bit of space but the passenger side plugs don't look any easier to get to....

Been busy again, made a new combined trans cooler and grille holder upper from some thin wall tube I found at work. Finally got the intake finished, I had to open it up to full port size, it actually necked down up in the runners, few hours with the die grinder had that sorted. Someone had Mullered up the bolt holes when I tried to mound the carbs sideways, so Trev made some new top plates to sort it. While he was at it he cut some "windows" in the sides to take off some weight and to make it easier to run the fuel lines. I painted it silver and had it satin laquered to keep it looking clean.

Not really Steve, I had Hauser give them the once over and he said there ws little point porting them any further. So I just had to get another valve to replace the odd one and have the valve heights equalized.
