I might take that headlight out and see if I can stretch the metal around the opening with the bezel fixed in place.

Yeah I will take care of that no worries. But couldn't be bothered to go out to get paint today so tidied up a few other things instead. Fitted bits of trim etc.
One thing I did do was make a little ally box for the 5 volt power supply I made to power the MAP sensor I have fitted on the intake. I have fixed the box up under the dash out of sight.
I also ran wires for the LM-1 recorder meter under the center console so that the meter can sit in the console box when recording during a run.
It will be recording air/fuel ratio, RPM, and manifold vacuum and the software will plot those together on a graph. I am going to try and blag one of our old laptops from work to display the results at the track.
I ran an audio jack cable for an ipod into the console box too.

Almost forgot. I got the console top to fit flush around the shifter as well.

top job on that that shifter dave, is it sat on the original slap stick mount? i gather you cut some of the ally casing on the shifter cover to raise it ?

There are a LOT of mods to the shifter cover to be honest.

Oh sorry. I welded in a base plate for the shifter. Had to do some minor cutting of the stock metalwork.

Very neat Dave

looks similar to AllKillers cuda
We're hoping the Hurst ProMatic we bought last weekend will fit under our stock console. The shifter's certainly lower-profile but the console maybe higher too.

Looking excellent Dave, the headlamp alignment is hardly noticeable and once the pukka screw is in there, it will look great.
