'Glass bonnet going on today. This is a previously enjoyed item which already had a hole cut in it, will get a scoop on it at some point. Dzus brackets ended up being a bit of a funky shape to clear the edge lip and wing bolts, 6 made and fitted, 2 ready to go on, 2 more to make.

Looking good ( and light !)
Out of interest how are the hood brackets attached to the glass fenders. Bolts , rivets ?

Pop rivets do the trick.

More fabrication this week, brackets to mount the tach and the fuel pressure gauge. All the front end is back together now, just a couple of jobs to finish and the screens can go back in, nearly there!

Gary, or do you have a new toy?

Yes Gary still handles TIG welding for me, for the small amount of use it would get I really can't justify the cost of buying my own TIG welder, thought I'd really like one.
