New indicators in reverse light holder

A little while ago Derek mentioned to me the idea of trying to incorporate an indicator in the reverse light holder on our 68 Chargers. I said I could make-up and LED indicator sot that we could leave the standard reverse light bulb in place. After a little trial and error this is what I can up with.

I made me and Derek a set of these indicators and will gladly share any info if any one else wants to make there own.
Derek took a video of them working when he helped me alter the wiring on my car to get them working correctly.I'm sure he'll post it soon.

Video of indicators and reverse lights, not a very good video but you will at least see what we have done.

Might be an idea to use an LED bulb for the reversing light? I'm thinking the heat from a conventional bulb will cause all your hard work to deteriorate eventually. Good fix BTW, a very clever solution!

The reverse light bulb is behind the LEDs and the silocone on the rear of the Leds is heat resistant and honestly how long are the reverse light in use for.
