I know what you mean. Although plodding around I don't think open headers are that offensive. Might upset a few people when you bury your foot though.

Surprisingly in all my years of owning loud v8's I've only had one neighbour make a comment. And he owns a GT 40 !!! :shock:
Obviously doesn't appreciate a Mopar alarm clock like the rest of my road.
I told him to move house. :D

Took piglett to steves this morningfor mot.and she passed and now on the road.had a sticky caliper .all sorted now.drives very well indeed.still got some little jobs to attend to...was it worth doing..o yes

still oiling up .nothing bad i dont think.idles fine.no blow by whatsoever.so im going to give the stem seals a go soon.i think thats where the problem is.bit blue on start up.but does clear.and seems to be getting better with use.may pull the heads soon anyway for a bit of work
