Not been that well lately and when me head is OK I have had a bad back!
But managed to fit the brake system this afternoon.
That is a new Strange Engineering master cylinder (slightly smaller bore than my old lightweight MP unit) which needs to come off again for bench bleeding now I have sorted out the brake lines.
The electric line lock used to reside on the inner fender. I have now mounted it on an ally plate where the bulkhead connector used to be.
Big thanks to BLUE for supplying a brake fitting I needed.

I tell you. When I first fitted the MP lighweight MC years ago me and Linda were not impressed with the brake performance.
I had bled the master cylinder on the car because I couldn't see a problem with that.
But the pedal was still too soft.
So just in case I took the MC off the car and bled it in the vice.
Guess what? Loads of air came out when you pushed the piston all the way in. Not just on one stroke either. It took a few strokes to clear it.
I found a little air in the front disc pistons too despite lots of bleeding.
After all that we had a rock hard pedal.
So I know what to expect this time around.
Think I might replace the rear flexy hose before I do it though.
