thats a good idea Danny, you will really get to know her by having a good tidy up and see whats what. I wrote stuff down as I went along that needed to be done....then prioritised stuff into big/ small jobs and things that can be done off the car in the garage when its tipping down outside.
Get stuck in and enjoy Danny and keep it coming matey...great thread on an unusual car
Yep that's exactly what i plan to do Steve, got a nice list on the go already.
I removed the headlights bezels yesterday as only 4 screws on each one and going to give them a nice clean up and bring up the shine so that's a nice small job that can be done indoors.
Will do Steve, thanks for the advicce and kind words!!

Hi all,
Not much progress on the Fury lately as my Mum is very poorly right now,so just not had the heart or enthusiasm to work on the car.
My Mum is battling cancer right now and has been for just over 3 years and this is the third time the disease has now come back after being given the all clear twice in the past.
We have now just been told that my Mum cannot have anymore chemo as there is nothing they can do for her anymore as the disease has taken over and her body just won't cope with anymore treatment. She has now been sent home from hospital to try and get on with the rest of her life and to make the most of the remaining time we have got left as a family. We don't know if we are talking weeks or months or who knows...
I'm trying my hardest not to think about the situation and trying to get on with things to do,but then every now and then it just hits you.
Regarding the car,the only things i have done to take my mind off the situation is too spend some time doing little small jobs like cleaning some of the chrome parts.

Just to echo; Sorry to hear. Cars are metal and rubber Danny. Will still be there; unfortunately it aint where your priorities need to be right now.
My wife works for a hospice so its always close to home. The one thing she always says is that people need to know there is support out there - not just for your mum but for those who are trying to deal with the realisation of a situation. Dont forget to reach out to them if you need to.
Thanks for all the kind words guys, really means alot!!
This forum always seems a nice friendly place to come and get away from things and you guys are all great, thank you!!
Just thought i would share a couple of pics of the chrome headlight bezels i started to clean up...

Sad news Danny I have been there and know how you are feeling. My advice is focus on something i.e the car, I know its hard and you don't feel like it but it does help mate.
Best wishes to you and your family.

It's surprising what a difference a bit of detailing can make to a car.
