Fantastic event. Nic and I have been threatening to go for years but I think we've been missing out.
I think this was the best event I've ever been to at the pod.
Nice to put names to some faces. I recognised quite a few more cars but didn't spot the owners with them to say "hi".
A big thanks to the two Daves for some helpful advice on how to look after our car going forward.
It was nice to finally see some mopars in the flesh. I hadn't quite appreciated how big a C body really is! Nor did I realise how popular roadrunners and satellites were?
When's the next one???

580 trouble free miles, great weather, racing and meeting the MMA tribes. Great fun, thought the commentator was funny at 9am Sunday with 'Mustang Sally' for the Mistnag nationals
The event keeps evolving and that's for another discussion, but well worth the effort for me and Cathy. Thanks to all that supported the event as well as organising it.

Thank you, Pete. It's been brilliant to receive such positive comments about our Demon over the weekend.

Likewise, it was wonderful to see some Mopars in the flesh, meet some owners and get some advice. Lots of lovely cars and so glad I've finally managed to see a '70 Coronet ('70 Superbee in a high impact colour is my dream Mopar).
Had a great time apart from getting sun burnt!

I had a brilliant time

Great to see and meet up with friends old and new.
It's such a friendly event, conversations with complete strangers about strange Cars are the norm, excellent! I am nearly as hoarse as Lemmy today. Nothing to do with alcohol at all seeing as it was Lemonade and Jelly Babies all weekend.
The JC Superbird was awesome

The Black 440-6 Cuda Convertible was epic too.
Thanks to all who organised it

Yep, a great weekend as usual!
The quality of the cars is definately getting better, with John's Superbird as good as it gets. Met some new people, and caught up with some old ones too!
Some things I didn't manage to do:
- Talk to Pete
Talk to John S
Talk to Gavin
Look under the hood of the black 440-6 convertible
Look under the hood of the white Hemi Challenger
Weather was great, racing was really good, well done to the organisers!

I was there Steve, but not in the Cornet! Water pump launched the fan through the rad on the way up Thursday evening.
Still had a brilliant time in the M*stang, and thanks to all of those that helped with parts and advice, especially Leigh Bowden, who carted a rad, fan, and 2 fan clutches to the Pod. I'll have it fixed in no time.

I was working just a few miles down the road at Silverstone...although there was some good racing, it just wasn't the same, I'm pleased the weather held out for everyone, well done Don for getting in the 9's and to John Castlemen for getting his bird to the Nats after all these years!
