Can anyone advise me on the the best size of wheel and tyres to fit front and back on a 66 Coronet. Street/Strip use . Cheers

thats difficult/
if your rear end is stock you cannot get much off a tyre under the back arches, for street wheels go 8x15 with a 235 60 15 tyre they will also take that size on the front for slicks again 8x 15 wheel with a 28 tall 10 wide 15 diameter slick IF you have a 3.90 rear upwards, 3.55 or less go for a 26 tall slick,
if you want the full racer look go with a 5x15 front wheel and say a 185 70 15 front tyre

not a lot of room under them there arches,

especially if you don`t tub it),back spacing is important I think my backspacing is the same as yorkies I have 275x60x15 m/t`s no more rubbing on arches

Thanks "66" i,ve seen your car at York and at the Leeds criuse and it certainly looks and sits spot on, youve all given us something to go on thanks for the advise

still need to fit some spacers between rockers,& fit bigger fuel line

going to try bigger burnouts on the m/t`s ,been told they work better

you ready ian? you gonna get that car to york this year yorkie?

Yeah i,ll be at York ,Shakey Pod this year hopefully ,,plus trips to Leeds and Preston , funds permitting. I intend to put plenty of miles down, thats what its for
