nanas' 70 Dodge Challenger

Post by bananaskin »

Starting a thread now, as we are strating to take it appart tonight, and will be taking pictures. Getting it ready to have the engine taken out firstly.
At the moment it has a 440 in it, but its not in good shape.
This is the cars current state.

Whats the history behind it :thumbright:
The car last belonged to Pete Wiseman who bought it for Ronnie.

Before that it belonged to my mate Tim. He fitted the edlebrock heads and stuff. Cleaned the car up a lot too. Took off the wide transit wheel arches that had been fitted. But he was on a very low budget so an engine rebuild was out of the question. Also his relative that was going to sort the bodywork out for him never did.
After being laid off work for the second time he found himself in the position of having to sell it.

I believe Tim bought the car and engine originally from Duncan.
