I am going to do this on this Friday, somewhere in the middle of nowt, just past Peterborough.Weather looks a bit naff though, lots of mist & fog.
Been out in the garage tonight to check the car over and sort out the main beam that I have been without for so long,,might just need it (BMW 3 series headlamps,so shouldnt be too bad)
Will try to gat a few pix..With my camera skills?

Jeez,what a long day.Out at 9.15 back at 8.45..
Fuel receipts for £90 (all Shell V power @ £1.10 per litre)
3 cars there and the snapper took 350+ pix,
Not too sure how many will get into print though.
There was a non-running 56 Chev there that didnt get used much as it was too heavy to push about,
so mine and a custom car front cover feature car(39 Ford) got lots of attention.Lots of static shots and a few tracking ones of me overtaking the ford(taken by the guy hanging out the back of a Mondeo estate)
Long, cold day but interesting and a good laugh at times.Had a nice meal on the way home(on X`s)did 250 miles and must have started the car 25 times during the day and plenty of static shots with 4 headlights on and a big jam on the way home and the car was faultless.
The feature will be in the Feb issue of Practical classics and also................................Wait for it......................
MAXY PANTS

No kidding..
