Latil, I use AOL, has now tried Explorer, just cannot open it, says time out after about 15 sec. I guess the problem must be with my computer, although I have never had this with any other sites. Even at work I cannot get in.
Anyway, thanks for the help

I give up now, has tried on 3 different computers tonight, the only common thing between them is AOL, so I guess it must be that.
Off to bed

Took 2 seconds to load when I just tried it.
For reference I have Virgin 4meg broadband these days.

Oh and AOL is rubbish enough without combining it with dial-up. I wouldn't touch either with a bargepole. Complete waste of time.

Dave, I've been onAOL for many years, i guess I don't know enough to change, and the hassle of email address change, aargh....
But I guess the time will come if this sort of thing happens often to look somewhere else.
