I've had the car since the 11 October and have been doing lots of small bits to the car since but today i have finally started to do the big stuff. My plan is to fit all new ball joints, bushes, shackles, pitman arm, idler arm, stronger torsion bars,re tempered and stiffened leaf springs and also all new brake lines.

Yup , the original reg no was 5WKD or something like that . Even got a photo appearance in ' The Ultimate Mustang Book ' by Nicky Wright . I had the privilege to drive it back from Farnborough to Rugby a few years ago :thumbright:

thanks guys.Like the photo
i brought it off Dave Wilson in Coventry and he told me it came from Farnbrough . He also showed me all the books its been in so i know its been around for a while. It is prity fast at the moment but i am in the process of building a 400hp+ 318 to drop in and then we will see what it can do.At the moment i want to get all the suspension perfect so i can enjoy driving every where next year. some the the bushes look like they have never been replaced and as for the dampers they were rubbish. If you know anyone with more history on the car let me know as it is always intresting.

Isn't this the one that used to be 3 VVO, originally mettalic blue? If so it used to be owned by a guy I used to know back in the '70's.
