I missed the last issue which was supposed to have a big article in it about rear indicators. Did anyone get it and was there a definitve answer?
Could anyone scan the article and put it up?
Cheers.

I have the Mag at home, if I've not already thrown it out. If I can find it I could either send it to you or Scan it.

				CHeers Andy.
It was just the indicator article I was interested in, if it'll scan in a way I can read it on here that would be great.
Plus others might be interested, I know it's an issue for those with twitchy MOT centres(!)
If it won't scan then if you could just tear the relevent pages out and post them up to me that would also be great.

Cheers dude.

				Cheers Andy, most grateful

I think this will do me fine thanks, but I appreciate the offer of the file.
I thought the article was in the issue that came out today but I guess I must have been work more than I thought last month as I completely forgot to pick the October issue up(!)
You're a gent sir

i thought that article was a bit disappointing, it barely touched on the legality of red rear indicators, most of it was on advertising the skills of a company to create amber indicators in the original light units

Bit of a plug here but if you want your lights converted in the North West give Dave madders a call

he did a great job on my Duster by using Amber Bulbs in my reverse light lens.

I believe it is the case that any car made after September 1965 must have amber indicators at the rear.

you could be right, they have had several small articles about mot's etc with red indicators, apparently there is a european directive that states that if a vehicle is manufactured with red indicators but not for european import then the original indicators are ok (something like that anyway, i will have to get the articles and have another read, maybe scan them and post them up)
