Dick did own this around 1976ish before the Superbird. I think he sold it to Rex ? Harrison who ran it at Blackbushe a few times. The car was featured in Custom Car at one time. Will have to look may still have a copy of it in the loft.

I bloody love them mid 70s pics, reminds me when I was a little kid waiting for me monthly Custom Car, days at the Pod, the London rod and custom shows, Olympia etc :thumbright:

Been up in the loft and found this from April 1978 Custom Car. Seems Rex Harrison had the car about 18 months then so Dick would have had it about 1975/76 (Christ thats 35 years ago! Even R.RUNNER would be young then :P :P :P)_ Article says it ran 13.5 in the wet at Snetterton. Was for sale at £2750 !! Where's that big dose of hindsight.

It used to run around mid 10's with a big dose of nitrous, nice car and a nice guy as well.
Rex looks like a bay city roller with those trousers.
