Wondering if these can be obtained new......if so from where please?

Mine are distinctly chromeless, and warped, so before I try and make the most of them, hope new ones are obtainable. Am I hoping too much?

Cheers
Tony

I can help

Go to Halfords, they have a plastic chromed strip in a roll. Done it on my Dart headrests and you'd never know

Hi Tony, how's things?

I've had a look round the usual sources but could only find mention of it on Legendary's site:

Bottom of page 65 (screen-shot below)

It looks like what Justin has suggested from Halfords, so might be worth trying Halfrauds first?

Dunno if it's self-adhesive or if it has to clip on tho?

Justin's right, I've used it on headrests, it's just the job...and Justin's favourite price. Cheap! ;)

used this !! if you want pictures of how it looks let me know !! been on there 7 years !! no probs , , just make sure you degrease the headrest first where the adhesive backing sticks !! , & heat the chrome strip with a hot air gun a little so it bends to shape :thumbright: did glue the very ends on the underside !! just to make sure cause i'm nutts like that

You'd never know my cheap replacement for gearbox oil,

Sawdust

Goes great in the box, cuts down the noise and stops vibrations

I sold a few cars back in the 80's with the secret cheap oil

:D :D :D :D

Thanks everyone, I've got a few options there.

Have always had a split in the drivers seat, so finally got round to getting that done this week...good as new now. How embarrased was I when told my 'leather' seats were plastic!!

What's the cheap option for sorting the woodgrain look door cards then? That stuff you used to stick on your kitchen worktop. Fablon?
