Challenger getting work at last - 7 year on update.

We have motion. Finally got enough trans fluid in and tried the gears, it has moved forwards and backwards on its own now, and stopped using the brake pedal.
Also discovered doing up the wheel nuts is a good idea before driving, even if it is only 10 feet. Horrible clonk noise!
Hood scoop is on, now paint prep.
Just wondering about the windscreen trim clips, should they be along the bottom of the rear screen along the duchess panel as well?

Thanks Dave,Dave wrote:Yes the trim clips have to go along the bottom of the rear window. There is a factory diagram in the parts manual showing the number and position.
I take it that securing the clips with self tappers will be OK, as those little rivet things will be hard to source, and hurt your fingers when rubbing down.
I have got a couple of clips secured by screws at the front screen top corners.

I've learnt lots about screen clips now! Later ones can go on after the screen is fitted, only 70 screw in first.

Rewinding a few weeks, this was real clenched buttocks time, taking an angle grinder to an otherwise excellent bonnet.

Worth the worry though, but did it make a mess or what? There is so much metal to cut through with the frame as well. Several discs later.

And today I am mostly removing my fingerprints from the tips of my fingers.
I have now a deadline of just under three weeks to get this car painted and on the road, in time for daughters birthday on May 14th. She wants to go out in it on her birthday.
Just got to paint, fit up enough for an MOT, and the details stuff can be done for Brands Hatch. sounds easy except I have to fit in work and sleep.

Absolutely epic progress Matt!
I can't believe after all these years of bugger all happening in the Hollingsworth garage that the old Chally has gone from a candidate for ebay under the heading "project" to a living and breathing Mopar.
With the progress you are making, as well as Blue, Will and the other MMA members are making with their cars it's getting a bit like the good old days!
