So who's going then & whats it gonna cost you?
I can't get the Friday off so will be hitting the road early Saturday morning with three of my sons . Dan 22, Alex 19 & Rob 14. Rob is always with me at the Nats but the older two haven't been & want to know whats the big deal about it? :D .
Its close on 200 miles to the Pod from North Wales so should be there in three hours or so as long as the car behaves
Buzzing thinking about it & looking forward to seeing friends old & new :thumbright:

cheers matey, could easily do it by changing the gears & revving the nutts off it but dont want to risk the engine for the sake of a slip of paper, but will be trying again !

Heres the schedule :
Thursday night :drink lots outside the gate
Friday : spend all fiddling with car
Saturady afternoon : bust car
Saturady night : get well piseed & talks lots of boll ocks

I was just going to do the Sat and Sun so I'd only have to camp the one night. Mainly because I can't be arsed with the cooking and I can't live on fast food.

But I am in two minds about the Friday now it is getting closer....

I wonder how the Corvette will cope with camping on the field? That should be interesing with about two inches of ground clearence. :D

Car is booked in for its M.O.T on Friday , fingers crossed. [-o< . Looking forward to the drive down. First half hour of the journey is always when my ar*e starts twitching & thinking are we going to get there. After that when the temp sits at 170-180* & youv'e checked the oil pressure 3,000 times you start to enjoy the drive. Its a hell of a buzz when you arrive after a 200 mile drive down. Just hope the weather improves.

LOL Yes. I don't miss that nervous feeling for the first 100 miles or so.

The last time I went in the Challenger I had a flat tyre on the back for a few miles before realising.
Now when ever I drive the Vette any distance I must call up the tyre pressures on the dash information centre maybe a half a dozen times or more during the trip. Just to be sure.
