HI MOPAR PEOPLE,
I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE AUTO TRANSMISSION SCENE SINCE 78,WHEN I HAD A PART TIME JOB/ CRIKEY MORE LIKE FULL TIME BAGGING IT FROM SCHOOL TO WORK AT A TRANSMISSION SHOP 2 MILES FROM MY SCHOOL,I THEN CARRIED ON AFTER SCHOOL AS THEIR APPRENTICE, THEN ON AND UPWARD AS A MADE MAN

WE ALSO DID OVERDRIVES AND ENGINE REBUILDS ON BMW,S AND JAGUARS AND ANYTHING I BLEW UP

I STUCK IT OUT WITH THEM TILL 87 AND LEFT TO WORK FOR MYSELF SO I RENTED A RAMP AT A SMALL VILLAGE GARAGE AND THATS WHERE I LUCKED IN I MET LOUISE MY NOW WIFE RAVING MINTER IN EVERYWAY BUT SHE MADE MY HEAD GO FIT SHAGABLE GIRLS CAN DO THAT TO A BLOKE ,
SO I ENDED UP WORKING FOR THE GARAGE DOING MOT,S OVERSEEING THE WORK SHOPS AND STILL BUILDING TRANSMISSIONS IT EVENTUALLY ALL GOT TO MUCH SO I JACKED IN 97,

Just to be clear Dunc. Do you do ALL auto boxes ??
As in euro etc. or just all things American ???
Unfortunately my car was already in my chosen garage before I joined the club. Very happy with the job I got but good to get things done within our " community" IMO

Hi matey, i do all usa type gearboxes classic car boxes drag race etc
i now try to steer clear of the heavily influenced electronic controlled late transmissions as i have not kept up with any computer test gear can build the trans no problem but most failures have electrical problems as well that i can not test so try to keep the work based on the muscle car scene,
