had a call from one of my daughters this weekend saying that some scumbags had broken into her car, they crowbarred the drivers door in 3 places smashed the back window and guess what- took nothing? police said theres nothing we can do! looks like the car will be written off, she's gutted rant over.

I still don't understand why some of them decide to try and bend metal. It takes 10 times as long and will more likely get you caught.

Why not just smash the window (like they eventually did)! They would still get the same stuff, albeit a lot quicker and the inconvenience is a replacement bit of glass.......Not a written off car!

Should all be burned alive or made sterile as not to further populate the scum area of society!

Karma...........The only solution unfortunately in most cases!

I got burgled a few weeks ago so I share your pain. Unfortunately there is scum out there that cannot be eradicated and there's little you can do to protect yourself from it other than moving on and not letting it beat you down.

The Police caught 4 Lads breaking into my Car.they stole the Radio.

They asked if i wanted to press charges,hell yes i said.So they locked them up for a few hours and said we need to keep your CD player as evidence in Court.

6 months without my CD player and then when it came to court they just got let off with a telling off.

Wish i had not bothered and just said let them go and kept hold of the CD player.

No damage to my car thankfully so i guess that went in there favour.

i rest my case then,seems like its a no win situation- oh well whatever nevermind!
