Rats nest wiring #1

In my quest to trace the wiring for my horn, I made the mistake of having a look at the rest of the front harness. OMG, what a mess.
I'm trying to unravel what's there and what's not there.
Need some help identifying some parts. The lighting harness was totally frazzled and melted together in one part. It still works but needs repair or replacing.
The other part of the harness that connects on the bulkhead has been chopped, spliced, connected and otherwise buggered about with. It doesn't resemble any diagrams I have. The battery has been relocated to the boot and MSD added. I have a couple of relays that I'm not sure about and no regulator.
I'm either going to go for new harnesses or try a rewire what's there already.Problem with new harness is that I'll have to chop it for the MSD anyway.
If anyone can identify these bits, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Les

Common problem with Mopars is the altenator wiring through the bulk head connector

Thanks for the reply. Very interesting reading. I'm going to read again tomorrow as I have now unwrapped the entire front loom and exposed many horrors, including some fused wires and more crimp connectors than you'd think possible.
I've also got a digital dash so I'll check all is well with that too.
I assume this upgrade procedure works on all period Mopars? I have a '65 Coronet. Battery in the boot and MSD.
Thanks
Les

bottom one is your regulator for your alternator

looks like a generic aussie electronic replacement

mine is the same as that
