so what do you need 707hp on the street for?......Hellcat still don't quite look right to me............if I was going to go for one I would buy the 485hp 392 Scat Pack in black, or the super Scat Pack, love the shaker, and it looks "right"......I believe Vin Diesel turns up in one at the end of one of the fast/furious movies.
less the stickers of course!
warning!...richard rawlings edit needed

Everyone said "What the hell would you want a Hemi for" when they came out. Which is why they sold so few.

Maybe, but they were probably mostly idiots making silly statements...I know what Im talking about!......what can you do with 707hp that you can't with 485 on the street with a 6spd.....easier burnouts?, or 180mph instead of 160?
The way a car looks is more important to me at least than how much hp it has for the street alone. A 392 Hemi with a shaker and 485hp, its much closer to the real deal cars of the 70's. I bet you could mess about with that motors ECU etc. and get well over 500.
I recently went to SP in a 2013 Boss 302 452hp at 7200rpm, that was awesome, plenty of hp for the road as I found out, and that was 3-up.

I hear you Lez. And you are right. But a younger man than us could buy a Hellcat and come time to retire, probably sell it for a good profit.
I do like the front end and hood on this car though. Looks a bit T/A or AAR. I don't think the shaker looks right on them.
And drive it to the Nats and run what?...10s on slicks?

yep, were all different Dave, credit to Chrysler for trying to produce a car to match up to the Vette and supercharged Mustangs though.
Its like going back to the hp wars all over again
well yes 707hp would run 10.50's if you didn't break anything and 485 would be a second slower....but thats unfair, if you bring D/racing into it, thats a different ball game
