Hi
My name is Neil Foster and I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger 340 rally
I'm currently in the process of turning it into a 1970 clone.
I have managed to source all of the parts (grill, fenders ) and work
Is under going to fit them ,along with some floor pan replacement
Inner wing replacement and front rail repairs.
I've never been on a forum before so please
Forgive me if I seem a bit unsure!
I think I have attached a picture of how it
Looked when I first brought it but what you can't
See is the all the tin foil and P38 it's been stuffed with.
I will have some parts available for anyone with a 72
I have fibreglass fenders , grill and hood hardware
Also a 70 passenger fender that's probably beyond repair
But does have a good headlight bucket ,
I'm not sure if I can attache more that one picture
Maybe someone can help. I live in Devon
But have the car in the midlands while the work is being done. Cheers. Fender bender

Hey Neil.......welcome!
You've come to the right place........loads of help and knowledge to tap into.
Best and most helpful bunch I've come to find on any forum/car club!
Out of interest........why change the 72 to a 70?
I would have thought by the time you have imported parts, bolted them on, painted and added correct misc parts it would be cheaper to sell the 72 and buy a 70...........not that there is anything wrong with what you are doing......just genuinely interested!
P.S. Photos are not working........there is a thread on here that discusses getting photos to show! Will see if I can find it!

Hi everyone and thanks for your warm welcome .
I thought I had posted a reply to some of your
Questions last week but I've had a email from the Webb administrator
Telling me different, so sorry if anyone thinks I'm being ignorant, I'm not
Just inept! I don't have a computer as such so at the moment all my Webb activity is done on my phone, (difficult with sausage fingers)
The. 72-70 clone is coming on slowly, now as well as new
Inner wings and brackets we have decided to replace the top half of the fire wall (Swiss Cheese) The reason I'm doing the 70 clone is the only challenger I could find for sale at the time was a72 ,so I decided to buy it and convert it as I love the front of the 70 challenger, watching vanishing point as a 13 hear old stuck with me ! Again thanks for a great welcome and look forward to meeting up some time once she's finished
Cheers. Neil
