Assuming they are standard port size and height and priced competitively, they look like a good step up from edelbrock RPM's. Now if they brought out a small block head with those kind of figures.....

They have Blue, Indy's SB 360-1 stock block heads, 330cfm at .750 with full CNC,..280 bog stock, just gotta use offset rockers....Jon Connolly has some me thinks.

Yes the 360 -1 is basically an aluminium version of the old W2 race head, needs a specific intake and has raised exhaust ports. With small blocks you have the Edelbrock heads and then you are basically into expensive race stuff. There's a gap in the market for an affordable head that flows around 300cfm on stock port locations.

Hughes do a CNC Eddy LA head with a 2.08 inlet that they got to flow 300 at .500 and nearly 320 at .700...all stock intake/manifold/stock ports etc.......but anyway, back to the original thread, doubt if those trick 240's will be cheap?

The combustion chamber volume is quite impressive.
Should be much easier to build a lot of compression without having to mill the casting so much you worry about altering some of the valvetrain geometry, VTP clearance etc.

Be interesting to see how they compare to Performers/Source and Victors/Indy EZ's.

Wonder where the pricing will be too.

Well at a glance they seem comparable with CNC'd RPM's/std port EZ's. The exhaust flow with that small 1.76 exh valve at 266@.700 is impressive (if not a bit enthusiastic), Std Port size Victors should outperform these by some way, but they are not a bolt on head.
I personally think these heads should be good for up to around the 650hp mark on a stock stroke 440 motor with at least 12.1CR or a 400/451. Too much head for just your average warm 383 with .500 hyd and 3000 verter unless your gonna roller it, CR it and launch at 5000 and rev to 7500rpm+.
