hi guys

My latest rod is a 1933 Plymouth 5w coupe, all steel all home made,
It was to be a classic rod built, stock height small block chevy, ladderbars etc , but after looking a 20 of the same thing at a show I started again ( 14 months of work).

This time back to were I started this trip 25 yrs ago street/strip toy ( I built a 105e with a 472ci bb). So now its chopped 4 inch's first attempt at one, 4 inch channel, 4x2 box chassis with full adjust 4 bar rear and old school 4 in drop I beam out front, will be caged for safety but still look old school.

so engine time built in a merc 5.6ltr v8, blower on megasquirt efi (1 year to do)fitted running, but not right.......it was just wrong don't know why but you know wrong....

so cut out sold engine and box on and time to rethink....
so my mate has a hard as nails mopar (Detroit hustle) and I just seems write a mopar in a mopar..
this time got a 383 and 727 to get it running, then when I can get it dialled in to the track and learnt to drive it I will put in a rebuilt bb and make some noise............

Always good to see something different on here. Detroit Hustle was my last project, owned that for 18 years.

Great looking project! 8-)

Did Detroit Hustle have issues early last year.......sure I remember reading about engine problems or a track accident (can't remember)?

Be good to see it out and about again!! 8-)
