Dunc, I tried both part numbers on the B& M site and nothing comes up. Maybe the part numbers changed since

thanks jerry,
its not that this is a complete brand new b&m valve body i am pretty sure its just a recalibrated one for better shifts no overlap,s and higher pressures, like a shift kitted original but better, i just wondered if it was yr specific sometimes thay are dont know why they all swap with each other,,,,,,,,,,,,

I wondered that too, it will work in later years too as you know. Possibly just that the details hadn't been updated from the previous years catalogue, at the time of going to print they probably didn't know it would still fit the very latest transmissions.

the 71 catalogue would have been type set in late 69 early70 to be ready for distribution late 70 say from september/october onwards with the NEW for '71 product lines
add in the mismatch of car model years to the equation
and the cost of producing a catalogue or making changes
and i bet when they made the catalogue for 69/70 they hadn't yet proved beyond reasonable doubt that their part did what it was supposed to in a later 69/70/71 box.
million different tweaks to a torqueflite over the years and although B&M have been around for a long time its gonna take some time to test stuff especially as there wasn't just Mopar to worry about.
