Furnace packed up..... Cold house! Don't worry I say. we will use the log burner...... 3 fire trucks and an Ambulance to sort it/us out!

Chimney wasn't cleaned properly was it... ;)

we get a lot of these runs on our Vol dept.

Well... It was cleaned year before last. We did not use it last winter, but obviously a build up of creosote. And that was all it needed.

That was close Jeff....glad you are all ok. Sounds like you were very lucky in a strange way. Much damage or is it a dry out and repaint job??
