So Joe and his wife are still here on the visa that runs out in 2 weeks.... The Canadian Immigration decided to change ALL visas this year to keep out the dross. So this meant that today was the first chance we had of applying for new work permits for them. That will give Joe's work more time to process Permanent residency for them...

10 AM today 5000 visa were allocated to Brits.... 2 mins after, they had all gone, plus 2000 more reserves. That is 7000 applicants in 2 mins! And that is just Brits trying to come to Canada. These visas are for under 31's.

You guys are scaring the young uns out! What is going on!

A lot of the lads I work with ended up in Canada many bought houses all are back in Scotland now. Sometimes the Grass is not always greener. I still want to give it a go though, I think it looks great.

I wonder how many of those visa applicants are Oil Field Trash?

Studded or at least winter tyres should be mandatory in the UK during the Winter months. Works great here in Norway. Love my Studded Tyres, can throw the Beemer around all over the place in the Ice and rarely lose traction.
