Big Bang @ Santa Pod Sunday just gone ( ESC class )
Had a blow out at 140 mph just before finishing line - car hit the side wall and took off
Front end was totalled but thankfully it didnt roll and Paul was unhurt.
Running a 2.0 4cyl lump ( 742 horses without gas )
( normal run )

Its running a 2.1 motor, steel billet crank, arrow rods, cat cams, 1mm oversize supertech valves fitted to ported/flowed big port head, direct port nos ( 100 Shot ) Garret GT35 turbo, 44mm tial external wastegate, fitted to bispoke tubular manifold, sequential gear box with diesel final drive, Aldex 4 wheel drive / G60 Rallye rear end + lots of other goodies.
742 horses + 100 shot of the funny stuff.
I ran a street legal A3 with a similar set up that was Stupid quick ( ran 10's )
pushing out 527 / 488 lbft on low boost ( made 598 but we backed it off for reliability ) . Car weighed 970kg.
I looked forward to waking up on a Sunday morning and taking the car out for a run down the A59 in Lancs. It pretty much nailed every "supercar" & "superbike" it came across. Naturally i never broke the 60 mph national speed limit

Audi was built as a sleeper for road use - The scirocco is without doubt the better of the 2.
