Hi all,
The Mopar Newbie needs your help!!
I need to replace the battery on my 66 Fury lll. Not sure which is the best UK one to get, if anyone can help with the type and suppliers.
Also, I'm trying to find a supplier for various replacement bulbs for such things as the dash courtesy light, ashtray light, and glove box light.
Thanks everyone!!
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy. This question pops up periodically and usually gets lots of different brands suggested. It all depends on how you plan on using your car and what your budget is. For a cheap but effective solution a Transit diesel battery is a good buy. If you're feeling flush an Optima yellow top will spin your Fury over a treat. Try the forum search function to find other old threads on this topic. Here's one to get you started...........

I had a friend who sells batteries match one for my Coronet. Size , post type and position , cranking power etc. sorry. I don't know what it was originally intended for.
As for bulbs. Customville near me stocks them if you have no luck else where.
I could always send them up for you ?

I did have an app for my phone which was for Mopar bulbs. Quite good and gave a number for each bulb.

I use a varta battery on my charger, think it's either G68 or G69, bought it through eBay
LED bulbs work well, especially in the dash and you get to choose the colour you want for the dash

As said optima yellow top but expensive.
They use spiral cell technology so you can run them totally flat and not hurt them. Ideal for a carvan

If you use the car periodically I would go with an Optima, but an alternative is a more standard battery and a trickle charger to keep it topped up so it won't let you down......

Thanks again everyone for your help. I've managed to source a Bosch battery from euro apparatus. This is the link for it if anyone else needs one. £88.
