header studs and water

hi

newby to the world of mopar, removing old header exshaut stud to find water...do the water jackets run between these and would you find water there.

engine 69" 383

Yes. Just put sealer on threads it'll be fine.

phew.....thats a first for me spent the last hour get the dollys out,

best clean up

I keep forgetting that ! Last couple of times I've pulled the headers off Ive had a blast of water from behind as the water in the head pours out on the garage floor.

Yep. I think every stud on every factory head goes into the water jacket, though many after-market heads are blind (such as Indy).

A dab of silicon and good to go!
