I think this about sums it up......

'I find that car guys come in all shapes and sizes, from every financial background that you can think of and run the gamut as far as age goes as well. Some car guys love the exotics, others muscle cars and yet others antiques and imports. One thing that is usually constant is that a “true” car guy appreciates every type of automobile on the road today and doesn’t pigeonhole themselves into one specific automotive genre.'

Yep that about sums it up, not just owning or driving but actually getting your hands dirty as well.

I am not sure if Jay Leno rolls his sleeves up and gets personal with a crankshaft; but in my book he is a complete car nut!

I'm sure Jay Leno gets stuck in where he can, he's been a car nut since he was a kid.
You're a car nut...
If it's in your blood.
If you think about cars more than sex.
If you hate cars you don't have to fix.
If you smile and get a little buzz if you see or hear any race car anywhere.
If you smell modern petrol and fondly remember what proper petrol used to smell like.
If your first question to another car nut is what's under the hood? And you've NEVER asked what's it do to the gallon!

Well that settles it, I am definitely NOT a car nut by your definition....and neither is Duncan...............
