I think this about sums it up......

Some car guys love the exotics, others muscle cars and yet others antiques and imports. One thing that is usually constant is that a “true” car guy appreciates every type of automobile on the road today and doesn’t pigeonhole themselves into one specific automotive genre.'

If you hate cars you don't have to fix.
If you smile and get a little buzz if you see or hear any race car anywhere.
If you smell modern petrol and fondly remember what proper petrol used to smell like.
If your first question to another car nut is what's under the hood? And you've NEVER asked what's it do to the gallon!
