if they all put the time and effort they have put into this stupid flag into really thinking about their gun laws the whole of the US would be a safer place.

If anybody cares to look into the news behind the news they'd realise that the TPP is the Elephant in the room.
Goverments get away with this time and time again, have the plebs fight over nonsensical, arbitrary things whilst they quietly pass laws like this.

I hear the banter all people from the south owned slaves(no they didnt) there for they are racists ,so since good ole George Washington had slaves he should be removed from our currency.

I was all for the removal of the flag, as when this kicked off it seemed black Americans regarded it like we regard the Nazi flag.
However, I'm realising just how much I don't know about the present situation and the history of the flag.
As an example, I was amazed that the Confederacy only lasted 4 years!
I'm sure there are good arguments for and against which I and most Brits know eff-all about.
As such, I will now keep my gob shut about it til I know more

Well its not like a firm leftist to admit that they are usually wrong and should keep quite.
Quite insulting that in your admittedly limited opinion that just because someone lives outside of the US they have an impinged understanding of what when on before and during the Civil War. Again, a typical leftist response.
Generally, I find you get a clearer view of a subject when you step back and approach it impartially........
