I think it is astounding that Lemmy outlived him.
Mind you, he did break his neck during a bit of "High Jinks", so he had been through the ringer a bit....

When performing "Ace of Spades" live, Lemmy has changed the words from:
"...I don't want to live forever, and don't forget the Joker" to
"...I don't want to live forever, but apparently I am"...........

Found this online, one of the first Motorhead gigs I didn't go to...
The pier is just down the road from me, it's currently cordoned off as we're all waiting for it to collapse into the sea!
