Do any 68-70 Charger owners have the plastic cover inside the trunk / boot that covers and protects the rear tail lights? I think maybe only some cars came from factory with them but could be wrong.

If, not would anyone be interested in obtaining one if I got some made up? I bought one recently from the states and it cost me an arm and a leg. When it arrived it was cracked to bits so thinking of getting one made up out of fibreglass. If I get more than one Im hoping it will offset my initial cost. Let me know if anyone might be interested.

They only came on 69 & 70 Chargers. Did everyone know that the backs of 69 Charger tail lights came in 2 different sizes (short & long). I have got a set of both, I have heard that the longer style don't fit in the tail light covers but I haven't tried this myself. I will have to dig them out & try it out on my 69.

I think it might be on the repo tail light cover (which I have got), i'll have to borrow my friends original to try both

Only the short ones are repopped.

Are the longer tail lights not from a '70 and the shorter ones from a '69?
Always thought the rear lights on the '70s look longer

also there are 4 tail light covers as far as I know ,

69 deep
69 shallow

70 , deep
70 , shallow ,

did have pictures saved of three of the versions , but lost them with loads info when computer went petetong , a while back
